As we step into the New Year, Obsidian is starting to take shape with the roof finished and cladding detail complete. This month we have seen the side scaffold come down and western wall rendered and painted. Over the next few weeks we will see unveiling of the facade with the back and front scaffolding due to come down revealing Obsidian's very unique circular design.
Levels 1-3 are framed, sheeted and waterproofed to all wet areas with the curved ceilings on level 4 near completion. Internal finishes are well advanced with finishing trades including painters, tilers and joiners all on site. Defecting of level 1 will take place over the next week or two.
